What Gulfport Roof & Storm records when you make contact, how long it is kept, and who else sees it.
Version dated October 2026. Queries to hello@gulfportroofandstorm.com or (228) 364-1994.
This note sets out what happens to the information you give us. It is written to be read rather than filed, so it is short.
When you telephone, the line records the calling number, the time, the property address you give and your description of the roof. Calls are answered first by an automated assistant that takes those details before a person rings you back, and calls may be recorded so the job record is accurate. Say at the start that you would rather not be recorded and the assistant takes the details without keeping audio. When you use the form instead, we hold the name, telephone number and postal code you enter, the category you select and anything you type in the notes field. Nothing beyond those is collected and nothing beyond name, number and postal code is required.
The record exists so a roofer can be scheduled, briefed before arriving, and held to what was quoted. We use it afterwards only to settle a question about an invoice or a complaint. It is not used to build a marketing profile and you will not be enrolled in a mailing list by contacting us.
Your details reach one other party: the independent contractor assigned to your roof, who needs the address and the description to attend. They go no further than that. We do not sell, rent, trade or supply contact details to data brokers, lead aggregators or anybody else, and we do not pass your information to insurers, adjusters or any other company without your instruction. A public authority receives something only where a court order or a statutory obligation requires it.
Photographs taken during an inspection are part of the job record. They belong to you as much as to us, which is why you get a copy whether or not any work follows, and we do not publish images of an identifiable property without permission.
How long any of this is kept
Job records are held for two years from the date of the visit, which covers the period in which an invoice, a workmanship question or an insurance query realistically arises. Enquiries that never became bookings are deleted after ninety days. Call audio, where it exists, is deleted after ninety days. Photographs supplied for an insurance claim are kept for the two-year job period, since claims take time to settle.
What you can ask for
Write to hello@gulfportroofandstorm.com and you can have a copy of the record held about you, a correction to anything wrong in it, or its deletion. Identity is confirmed against the telephone number on the record before anything is released or removed, and requests are dealt with within thirty days. Deletion here does not reach records the contractor holds under their own agreement with you, which you would need to raise with them directly.
